Katerina Morgan practices in the areas of civil rights, employment discrimination, criminal defense, and constitutional law. Prior to joining Killmer Lane, Katerina worked as a public defender for the Office of the State Public Defender in Denver County and later for the Office of the Municipal Public Defender in Denver County. As a public defender, Katerina gained significant trial experience while advocating for indigent clients facing criminal charges. She also worked as a civil rights attorney for Webber Law in Austin, Texas. During law school, Katerina represented clients through the Criminal Defense Clinic, Actual Innocence Clinic, and Children’s Rights Clinic. As a law student, Katerina dedicated herself to pro bono projects including: the Prisoners’ Access to Voting Project, the Expunction Project, the Driver License Reclamation Project, the DACA Project, and the Gender Affirmation Project.
